Netropole worked with Veloclothes to evaluate and address issues and marketing drivers that would affect the site design and function. These include: 

• Product availability information must be 100% accurate.
• Sizing information must be clear and understandable for customers.
• Reorder levels must be maintained in the e-commerce system.
• Multiple fulfillment and procurement methods must be supported on an item by item basis.
• Customers must be kept informed of their order status at all times.
• Reporting must be robust and flexible. Business intelligence will allow Veloclothes.com to use predictive modeling for pre-season orders.

In addition to developing the website, Netropole will be planning, managing, and reporting on marketing initiatives on an ongoing basis. This includes corporate sponsorship, press releases, paid advertising, search engine positioning, and affiliate marketing campaigns.

Look for the site to be open to the public July 1. 2004.
