Business Engagement Process

Whether we work on your network, or develop an enterprise application suite for you, it all comes down to process. Failing to plan is planning to fail, and we have no more interest in that than do our clients. We use the following process (at minimum) for any given project:

Qualification

Learn the client's general requirements, key objectives, time frame, budget, and plans for selecting their developer.

Free One-hour Consultation

Learn more about the client's company, business, requirements, objectives, issues, resources and time frame.  Offer suggestions, tips and recommendations.  Explain what Netropole can do for client and the next step.

Discovery - Scope

Discovery is a paid engagement on a time and materials basis during which Netropole and the client work together to define requirements and solutions in detail.  Its cost and deliverables vary with the size and complexity of the project. Netropole will provide documentation to the client containing information necessary for the go-ahead decision.  In the case of application development it will contain:.  

• Look and Feel - Mockups of user interface, workflow at a high level.
• Specification - Site Map, functional description, technology description, hosting options.
• Players and Their Responsibilities - Approximate time table, Fixed Cost Estimate based on scope.

Fixed Bid Development

Netropole has a proven track record of come in on time and on budget. We attribute this success to maintaining the proper discipline when it comes to development methodology.

Using our process, at the end of the Discovery phase, we are able to provide fixed bid costs and timeframes to our clients.
